Almost from the beginnings of what we have set out to achieve, we knew that developing a world-leading product that is un-matched in sustainability, renewables, smarts and features was not enough, price had to be competitive.
Last week I had a meeting with a developer who has been around for a long time and is very good at what he does. The outcome of this meeting was not overly surprising, but a very clear message of what matters; in order of importance:
The meeting started with him asking for an update (we have met before and discussed Atomic 6 system). I commenced with a barrage of all the exciting, off-grid / solar / battery, thermal, recycling etc that we are so very proud of. 2 minutes into my passionate monologue, he all but fell asleep. He simply didn't care. A waiter interrupted which was well received for my client.
Upon recommencement of the discussion he simply asked how much and how long?
We have had 3 or 4 other meetings with a very similar theme. Everyone is excited at our innovation, but dont want to pay for it.
Luckily we always knew this would be the issues so our superiority to traditional construction here places us in good stead. All the cool stuff is just icing on the top! :)
